Ammanford round off a busy August month with a visit from Cardiff Met University to the Recreation Ground. It’s the third visit the Archers have made to Carmarthenshire over the past decade with the men from the capital winning both of those encounters in the now defunct League cup.
Match Details
Cardiff Met are the visitors to Ammanford on Bank holiday Monday. The students have recorded three victories in their opening 5 games and currently sit in 7th place in the Novira Cymru Premier. Kick off is at 2:30pm.
Match entry
Gates open at 1pm and we encourage supporters to come down early to avoid the queues ahead of kick off and to soak up the atmosphere in the fanzone and in the Recreation Ground. Entry is priced at £8 for adults, £5 for concessions with under 16’s being admitted for just £1.
Refreshments
The Jac Lewis Foundation Building will be open serving hot drinks, soft drinks, snacks, hot dogs and confectionery. The fanzone will be open serving a range of alcoholic beverages including wines, beers, ciders, spirits and stout.
Fanzone
The fanzone will open at 1pm and will be serving until just after half time. There is a strict challenge 25 policy in operation. Sadly, all alcohol purchased inside the fanzone must stay inside that area. This is due to licensing and the league wide initiative in the Novira Cymru Premier whereby no alcohol can be consumed in view of the field of play.
Tomorrow will see us hold a special Bank Holiday bonanza where between 1pm and 2pm, if you purchase 2 alcoholic drinks, you’ll get the third for free.

A limited number of print programmes have been published for this season. They are on sale for £2. We'd like to thank Rhodri Jones for his excellent work producing this publication.

We have both home and away replica jerseys on sale inside the Jac Lewis Foundation shop. We also have a range of souvenirs such as pin badges, coasters and coffee mugs on sale too.
Pitch
As with previous games this season, no spectators of any age will be permitted onto the field of play at any point. This includes at half time and at full time. We thank you for your co-operation with this so far this season.
The under 9 and under 11’s of our junior section will be playing at half time in front of the main stand.
Entertainment
We are delighted to welcome Nathan ‘Titch’ Morgan who will be DJ’ing before the match and at half time tomorrow. His presence added an extra spark to our matchday experience against Connah’s Quay Nomads and we are delighted that he will be joining us again. At half time, as previously mentioned, the juniors will be playing on the field and would love your support.
Assistance
Please see any steward around the ground for further assistance. They will be wearing yellow high-visibility vests and will be happy to assist or point in the direction of anyone that can help further.

In our five games this season, we have been blessed with some incredible support. We currently sit in mid table in terms of average attendance and considering the size of the town and the huge teams in our league, we are immensely proud of this fact and grateful for your continued support.
