Ammanford AFC have announced five pre-season fixtures as they prepare for the start of the 2019/2020 season in the second tier of Welsh football.
After achieving survival last season, the club have organised a host of friendlies in order to prepare for the new campaign.
The first team squad will play five fixtures, all away from home, ahead of the season opener against Penrhyncoch in the Nathaniel MG Cup Round One in the first weekend of August.
Gruff Harrison will take his charges to last year’s Division One champions Penybont for the first friendly on the 6th of July, before playing Pontarddulais Town at the College Sir Gar 3G on the 12th of the same month.
On the 19th, Ynysygerwn will host the boys in black and white at Llandarcy, before Pontardawe and Ammanford do battle just four days later on the 23rd.
Before Ammanford face off against Welsh Premier League outfit Carmarthen Town on the 27th of the month, days before their cup clash at the Rec.
