MATCH REPORT: Ammanford AFC Reserves 1-1 Dafen Welfare AFC

Ammanford gained a point against a Dafen team that held a first half lead going into the last quarter of the game.
Dafen scored their goal minutes before half time and probably shaded the first half with their performance. In a first half of few chances it was Dafen who hit the crossbar and for Ammanford a Craig Frater glancing header that drifted passed the far post.
The Second Half saw Dafen dig in and deny Ammanford the space to attack.
However as the game entered its final stages, Ammanford stepped up the pace of the game and were more potent in their attacking play.
Both Craig Frater and Lee Trundle had free kicks on the edge of the Dafen penalty area that struck the base of the goal post and deflected to safety.
Ammanford finally got the equaliser when Lee Trundle gathered the ball and fired a powerful cross shot into the back of the Dafen net to level the score 1-1.
With five minutes to go Ammanford tried to push on for the win but a resolute Dafen defence held on for the draw.
