Manager Preview: Llantwit Major

A catch up with the ManagerHi Gruff hope you’re well thank you for giving us the Black and white army 10 mins of your time to answer some questions!𝐖𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐧 Tuesday 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 Cambrian & Clydach? After what was a wash out the other week.Yes, we were pleased with the point. We know we were Fortunate that the referee abandoned the first home fixture due to weather in what would have more than likely ended in defeat. But the boys played well last night against what is always a good Cambrian side and a point is a good result.𝐇𝐨𝐰’𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 to survive relegation panning out? It’s hard to say, great for the Neutral, but for everyone involved in it it can be very tense. It is a Cliche, but we are taking it game by game and every match day, the picture will change along with the table. All that counts is that when the match days run out we are as high up the table as possible.Llantwit Major home 𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 thoughts? Was a fiery one away a couple of weeks ago the fans seem to be up for it what’s the feeling in the dressing room?Again, cliche but it is another game and one we will prepare for like any other. Our last home game of the season, so one in which we aim to give our loyal fans something to shout about. We in the dressing room are looking forward to it.The team seems to be churning out some results of late what’s changed from the start of the season? We have changed a few things in our approach but no major changes, we always felt we can get results but as in any sport confidence is massive and that took a knock start – mid way through the season on reflection. Now the boys are confident and we are showing the real ‘us’. Big games coming up and we need to keep the standards we have recently setLangley started getting a couple of goals again lately but the kind of form he started the season off like, think he can kick on an finish the season with a bang?Jordan is a massively important player to us goals or no goals. I have Every confidence in him to contribute fully between now and the end of the season. He’s been excellent and a key member of the Team. After Friday (our last home game) we have 3 away games it’s a bit unusual to finishing the season off away from the Rec for this period what’s your thoughts on the opponent’s and the run in?I keep repeating it, but we are taking each game as it comes. We’ve proven on our day we can compete with the best so the aim is always to win every game we play in, as it should be in football and sport. We have tough games but everyone has tough games this league is not easy.Do you have targets for new signings lined up have conversations been had already if we stay in the Cymru South? As ever in football preparation is vital, as a club and management team we have them conversations but our full focus is currently on staying in the JD Cymru South.Thank you gruff for taking the time to sit down with us the Black & White Army Fans, we will look forward to more of this throughout each season.
