Ammanford AFC is delighted to welcome two new defensive additions to the playing squad with both players having already made their first team debuts over the festive season.
The first is full back Harri Lawson. Lawson has been playing with the reserve side since November and made the leap into the first team from the bench against Llanelli before starting the next two fixtures against Carmarthen Town and Afan Lido. The 25 year old is no stranger to Black and White having donned the very same colours at his previous clubs of Garden Village and Pontardawe Town.
The second is Gambian Babucar Sauane who joins Town from Afan Lido who ironically, he made his debut against. Comfortable anywhere across the back line, the 29 year old capped his maiden appearance in Carmarthenshire with a man of the match performance as his new charges ran out 5-1 victors against his previous employers.
We also send our best wishes to Luke Sylvester who continues his rehabilitation following his injury over the Christmas period.
