Ammanford AFC is pleased to conclude its business for the 2025 winter transfer window with the arrival of two new faces at the club.
The first addition is Seth Woodhouse, who joins from Cymru Premier side Haverfordwest County. The talented young defender made his top-flight debut at just 16 years old in a 4-1 away victory against Airbus on the final day of the season. Since then, he has featured in numerous matchday squads and made two additional appearances for the first team, both in cup competitions.
Woodhouse made his debut in Black and White off the bench on Saturday, playing the final 30 minutes of our narrow 1-0 defeat to Newport City in the Welsh Blood Service Cup.
Speaking to us, he said, “I’m really happy to be here at Ammanford. There are a lot of people at Haverfordwest who spoke highly of the club, and it’s easy to see why. I’m looking forward to getting on the field and helping the team finish as high as possible this season.”
The second new arrival at SA18 is Macsen Llewelyn, an attacking player who most recently played for South Gower. Prior to his time with the Swansea-based club, Llewelyn began his career at nearby Cwmamman United at Grenig Park. He has also gained experience at Carmarthen Town and Cardiff Met.
“I’m delighted to be joining Ammanford AFC,” Llewelyn said. “The club is moving in the right direction, and there’s a great group of lads here.”
Manager Wyn Thomas commented, “Seth and Macsen are exactly the type of players we want at Ammanford. They are honest, hardworking, and talented young players who will be a huge asset to the club. They’ve already settled in well, and we hope the Black and White Army will support them from the outset.”
Both players trained with the squad last night and are available for selection ahead of Saturday’s clash against league high flyers Pontypridd United.
