Ammanford AFC Stand United Against Racism

Supporting Show Racism the Red Card’s Month of Action in Wales

Ammanford AFC are proud to show our full support for Show Racism the Red Card’s Month of Action, taking place throughout October in Wales.

Football is a game for everyone — regardless of background, colour, religion, nationality, or identity — and at Ammanford AFC we believe in promoting respect, inclusion, and equality both on and off the pitch.

The Month of Action is an important time for clubs, players, supporters, and communities across Wales to come together and take a clear stand against racism and discrimination in all its forms. During October, teams across the Cymru Leagues will show their support by wearing red, raising awareness, and spreading the message that there is no place for racism in football or society.

Club Chairman Robbie Thomas said:

“As a community club, we’re proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with Show Racism the Red Card. Football should bring people together — not divide them. Everyone who comes to our ground should feel welcome and respected.”

Throughout the month, Ammanford AFC will be sharing key messages from Show Racism the Red Card on our digital channels and at our home fixtures. We encourage our supporters and the wider community to join us by learning more about the campaign, challenging prejudice where they see it, and continuing to build a game that celebrates diversity and unity.

Together, we can make a difference. Together, we show racism the red card.
