Ammanford AFC is delighted to announce that Lewis Reed has recommitted to the club for the 2025–26 campaign.

Despite strong interest a wealth of other clubs, the marksman opted to stay at Town  to make it three seasons in Black and White.

Since arriving in Carmarthenshire, Reed has been a phenomenon in front of goal, netting over half a century of goals in just under two seasons.

Highlights of his time in Black and White include a pair of hat-tricks against Cwmbran Celtic, a sumptuous free-kick against local rivals Llanelli as well as scoring over twenty league goals in consecutive JD Cymru South campaigns.

Before his arrival in Ammanford, Reed made a name for himself at Ipswich Town before establishing himself in the Welsh system with Llanelli Town, Port Talbot Town and Pontardawe Town.

Reed stated, “Since I’ve joined, I’ve never felt more welcomed at any club on and off the pitch. After speaking with the club, I’m impressed with the plans for the future. It made complete sense to re-sign.

“I’ve reached over 50 goals for the club earlier this season and I can’t wait to hit the next milestone. I’m looking forward to seeing the Black and White Army again for the coming season.”

Manager Wyn Thomas said, “It’s really pleasing to have someone with Lewis’ quality committed to us. He’s scored some really important goals for us over the past two seasons and I have no doubt he’ll continue that with Ammanford next term.”

Croeso nôl, Lewis!
