“One more year, One more Year, Euros Griffiths!”

Ammanford AFC is delighted to announce that Euros Griffiths has extended his stay with the club, taking his legendary association with the club into its 20th year.

The commanding centre‑back, who first joined Ammanford at the age of six, puts pen to paper on another deal that cements his status as one of the longest‑serving players in the Welsh top flight.

Renowned for his aerial dominance, leadership, passion, and consistency, Griffiths has been a mainstay of the first team for more than a decade, having progressed through every level of the club’s youth system.

Griffiths reached a major milestone in January when he made his 500th appearance for his hometown club. Over the course of his senior career, he has scored 28 goals, including the first goal of the campaign away at Cardiff Dracs and the final home goal of the season against Newport City.

Reflecting on his decision to stay,  fan favourite Griffiths stated, “After 20 senior years at the club, the opportunity to play in the Cymru Premier with Ammanford was too good to turn down.

“There’s no doubt it will be a challenging season, but this club and our supporters deserve the chance to compete against the biggest teams in Wales.

“With pre‑season only a few weeks away, I can’t wait to get started.”
