Ammanford AFC is delighted to announce that Morgan Clarke has renewed his commitment to the club for the forthcoming campaign.

Since his arrival, the former Swansea City Youth star has been a constant presence in the squad, rarely missing a matchday in nearly four years.

Highlights of his time in Black and White include a superb effort against Afan Lido in January, captaining the side in the absence of skipper Adam Orme, and scooping the Manager’s Player of the Season award under the tutelage of Gruff Harrison in 2023/24.

A hugely popular player both on and off the field, Clarke was sponsored last season by the Black and White Army and regularly earns recognition from his teammates for his work ethic, tenacity, and ball-playing ability in both attack and defence.

Speaking about his decision to stay at Ammanford, Clarke said, “I’m really happy to be here for another year. This is my fourth year at the club, and it feels like home now. It’s really exciting to be back on board. The club is looking to grow on and off the field, and I want to be a part of that.”

Manager Wyn Thomas added “Morgan is a player we were keen to bring back for next season. He’s proven time and again how important he is to this football club, and we’re delighted that he’s committed to another year in Black and White.”

Croeso nôl Morgan!
