Ammanford AFC is pleased to announce that winger Adam John has committed his future to the club by signing for the 2025/26 season.

The Pembrokeshire-born wide man joined Ammanford two years ago and has since proven to be an exceptional asset. His performances have consistently impressed, establishing him as a key contributor both in attack and in build-up play.

Across his two seasons in Black and White, John has led the club’s assist charts and contributed nine goals, including crucial strikes in away fixtures against Trethomas Bluebirds and Penrhiwceiber Rangers.

His relentless work ethic, impressive pace and unwavering commitment have made him a firm favourite among supporters at the Recreation Ground. The club is delighted to secure his services for another campaign.

Reflecting on his decision to re-sign, John said, “I’m delighted to be staying with the club for another year. Since arriving at Ammanford, the atmosphere has been fantastic both on and off the pitch.

“I’m excited about what the future holds and grateful to be part of a club that shows such strong support at home and away. I’m looking forward to repaying that faith.”

First Team Manager Wyn Thomas added, “Adam has played an integral role over the past two seasons and his statistics speak volumes about his impact.

“He gives 100% every time he steps onto the pitch, and it’s players with that level of dedication we want representing this football club.”
