Full-back Seth Woodhouse has committed his future to the club after deciding to stay for the 2025/26 season.

The 18-year-old joined the club in late January from Haverfordwest County. Prior to his move to Carmarthenshire, Woodhouse played a key role within the club’s development side, contributing significantly as they achieved a historic domestic treble and secured qualification for European competition in the 2024/25 season.

The talented young defender made his JD Cymru debut for his hometown club at just 16 years old in a 4–1 away victory against Airbus on the final day of the season, before featuring in numerous matchday squads for the Bluebirds, who just yesterday qualified for the Europa Conference League.

He made his Town debut away at Newport City in February in a narrow 1–0 loss in the WBS League Cup, before going on to make seven appearances in Black and White including a superb clean sheet away at league champions Llanelli on his full debut.

Woodhouse told us, “It was a tough decision to leave Haverfordwest after being with the club for so long, but from the moment I joined Ammanford, I knew I’d swapped one brilliant club for another.

“The boys made me feel welcome immediately and I really enjoyed the final months of the season. It’s a club going in the right direction, and it’s a future I want to be a part of. There’s the makings of a very strong season here and I can’t wait to get started.”

Wyn Thomas stated, “Seth has fitted into the first-team environment superbly since his arrival. He has a top-class attitude and is keen to learn. He’s shown so far he’s got a very bright future ahead of him, and as a football club, we hope we can help him so that he can achieve his undoubted potential.”
