Macsen Llewelyn has made the decision to stay at the club for the new season.

The attacker, who joined Town in January, has become the latest in a long line of last year’s squad to stay in SA18.

As a youngster, Llewelyn played for local rivals Cwmmaman, making his JD Cymru South debut aged just 17 as well as turning out for Carmarthen Town’s development side. After moving away to Cardiff Met, he returned West and linked up with South Gower.

However, in January this year, Llewelyn returned home to his roots by signing late in the month.

After a number of outings for the reserves, Llewelyn made his debut in the 2-1 home defeat to Trefelin but it was his performance a week later away at Goytre that caught the attention of the Black and White army.

With the game scoreless, Llewelyn came off the bench and coolly slotted home the game’s opening goal as the club went on to earn a 2-1 victory at Glanhafod Park.

Speaking on his decision to stay, Llewelyn stated, “I’m delighted to be staying. There was never really any doubt in my mind about going anywhere else!

“We’ve got a great group here and if we keep working hard and believing, I think we can roll with it and have a strong season. I can’t wait to get going.”

Wyn Thomas added, “Macsen was an excellent addition to our squad in January. He trains hard and has proven he can be a game changer for us. I’m delighted to have him back.”
